Marjorie Alice Green

Marjorie Alice Green, 91, of St Louis, Missouri passed into the Lord’s embrace on Monday, December 6, 2010 at the Hospice of San Joaquin in Stockton, California. Marjorie was born July 29, 1919 to Arthur T and Anna Mae Baldwin in Salem, Missouri She lived and raised her family in St Louis until she moved to Stockton, California in June of 2010. Marjorie was a housewife, a mother, and a long standing member of the Berea Lutheran church in North St Louis County where she served in the Lady’s Guild in various positions. She later joined the Concordia Lutheran Church in Kirkwood, Mo. Marjorie retired from Mallinckrodt Chemical Co after working for more than 25 years.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Thurman L Green and her eldest son, Paul D Callahan and his wife Jerrie, all of St Louis.

Marjorie leaves a brother, M. Stanley Baldwin and his wife Dorothy, of Freedom, Pa., a daughter Gail (Green) and her husband Randy Wood, of St Louis, two sons, Gary Green and his wife Evie, of Joshua, Texas, Larry Callahan and his wife Sue of Stockton, California, and a Stepdaughter Joan Ford of Naperville, Ill. She also leaves 5 grandchildren; Kelly Callahan of St Louis, Coleen Burrell of Arkansas, Sean Green of Florida, Kristy Ford of Naperville, Ill, Stacey Pryor of Florida and 7 great grandchildren

Graveside services will be held at the Mt Hope Cemetery in St Louis, Missouri in early January. The family plans to have a memorial service in the spring.
