During Mateo’s 8 months of life, he brought joy and happiness with his smile and loving personality. Which always comforted his parents while being near his bedside. He loved to be in his boppy to watch his favorite movies Moana and Coco, looking at himself in the mirror, stare above and watch his toy mobile. Mateo adored his stuffed animal giraffe and Ellie the elephant. He had the biggest personality and would let you know if he did not like something and give you a side eye look. Nevertheless, he always loved getting his hair washed and snuggles from Mom and Dad. Mateo enjoyed head rubs and belly pats when doing so he would hold your hand or fingers while patting his belly. Holding hands always comforted Mateo as well as listening to music and soothing sounds.
Mateo is deeply loved by his parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles and many extended family members.
Armando and Elizabeth would like to thank the Dr’s and nurses At UCSF Children’s Medical Hospital for their compassion, support, and care they provided.
