Brother Matt, I was blessed to have known you in the latter part and watched how you began to build a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. From talking about our experiences in the Marine Corps to breaking bread about your curiosity about what you called "deaconhood" haha. It hurts to know after the last talk that it was the last. God saw fit that it was time for you to be freed from this life and truly live with him in the great by and by. Well brother, fair winds and until we meet up again, Rest in Power OORAH!

I hadn’t seen Matthew since he and his late sister were small and they were living in their g/ma’s house. They both were such pretty little ones and so friendly. The second time was at their g/ma’s funeral. He was so nice and talkative to me not knowing me after just meeting me.  I’ll always hold those memories in my heart ❤️🙏🏽  gg/gma Wanda
