Milagros "Lagring" Galindez Francia Rosete

Milagros “Lagring” Galindez Francia Rosete, age 84, of Stockton, CA, joined her Creator on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. Born in the Philippines, Lagring was the daughter of the late Onofre Filamor Galindez, Sr. and Pacita De Jesus Francia. She was later adopted by the late Uldarico De Jesus Francia Sr. and Arsenia Feria.

Lagring dedicated over 30 years of her life serving as a midwife in San Felipe, Zambales, Philippines. In the United States, she worked as a caregiver and was affectionately known as Mila. She was the beloved wife of Jorge Rosete, Jr., the retired postmaster of Iba, Zambales.

Lagring was a loving mother to Raquel Rosete Bayani ♱, Olga Rosete Hinayon, and Madonna Rosete. She was a cherished grandmother to Jasmine and Jasper, children of Raquel and Jun Bayani, and Vincent and Mayumi, children of Olga and Gerry Hinayon. She also leaves behind her son, Manolito Galindez.

She is predeceased by her siblings Florencia Galindez, married to the late Ricardo Abille, brother Raymundo F. Galindez, married to the late Isidora Feria, brother Onofre F. Galindez, Jr., married to the late Josefina Murillo, and brother Jose F. Galindez.

A visitation for Lagring will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at DeYoung Shoreline Chapel, 7676 Shoreline Drive, Stockton, California. Another visitation will occur Thursday, January 11, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A rosary will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at 4:00 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Friday, January 12, 2024, at 10:00 AM at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, 3847 N. Sutter Street, Stockton, California. A committal will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park, Highway 99, and Harney Lane, Lodi, California. A reception will follow the burial at the China Palace, located at 5052 West Lane, Suite 4L, Stockton, CA 95210, starting at 12:30 pm.

Lagring’s life was a testament to her dedication to her family and her profession. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in peace.
