Mrs. Miyeko Oji, Born 13 January 1918 passed away on Sunday, 22 May 2011. Mrs. Oji was born in Seattle, Washington and was 93. She’s preceded in death by her husband, George Iwao Oji, brothers, Mamoru Omi, Johnny Omi, and Takumi Omi. She was the loving Mother of Jess Oji (Yumi) of Stockton, Raymond Oji of Martinez, CA and Florence Morita of Lodi. Mrs. Oji is also survived by her grandchildren, Kevin Morita (Daryn), Roxanne Gilley (Kevin), and Cyndi Oji, great-grandchildren, Logan and Calista Morita, sister, Kiyomi Wada of Hiroshima-Ken, Japan. Mrs. Oji was devoted to all of her children and worked very hard to help provide for a better life as they grew up.
