Neusa "Nancy" DeAguiar Fernandes

Born on December 30, 1943 in Brazil, she married and came to the United States in 1963. She came to this country worked on a dairy and was part owner of a transmission shop, while raising her three daughters. She was loved by family and friends and will be missed very much by all who knew her.

Neusa will be remembered as a bright and shining light. She truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family and enjoying her beautiful grandchildren.

Neusa is survived by her children, Elizabeth Fernandes (Philip Fernandes),

Nadir Amaral, (Julio Amaral) and nine grandchildren.

She also leaves behind siblings and nieces and nephews in Brazil.

Neusa was preceded in death by her mother and father, brother and a daughter

Nair Fernandes.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 21, 2015, 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., at

Frisbie-Warren & Carroll Mortuary, 809 N. California Street, Stockton, CA.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 10:00 a.m.,

St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 215 W. Walnut Street, Lodi, CA. Final resting place will be at the San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery, Stockton,
