Norman E. Gillis Jr., 80, of Manteca, passed away November 30, 2015 in Palo Alto, CA. He was born on November 13, 1935 in New Orleans, LA. Norman was the only child born to his Parents, Norman & Ellen (Bordelon) Gillis.
Norman is survived by his loving Wife May Gillis, of Manteca. He is also survived their 3 children and many other relatives and friends. They are both long-time residents of the Manteca- Lathrop area.
A graveside service will take place at the, San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, 32053 McCabe Rd, Santa Nella Village, CA 95322, on Monday, December 28 at 11:30 am. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday December 29, at 7:30 at Manteca Gospel Assembly, 215 Elm Ave., Manteca, CA. Frisbie-Warren & Carroll Mortuary of Stockton, CA has been entrusted with services.
