Oscar was born on June 25th 1937 to Ascancio and Rose Del Barba in Stockton, CA. He passed away peacefully on November 30th, 2015 at his home in Lodi. Oscar is survived by his wife Carmen Del Barba, sons Jeff and Mark Del Barba, his brother David Del Barba along with numerous grandchildren, nephews and nieces. Oscar joined the United States Marine Corp in 1954 until 1957. He was part of the nuclear weapons testing operation knows as “Operation Teapot”. After he left the Marine Corp Oscar worked for the Fiberboard company in Stockton for many years. Oscar was a member of the American Legion Karl Ross post 16 here in Stockton. He was an avid collector of old cowboy and western movie memorabilia. Oscar was greatly loved and will be missed by all his family and friends. “ Semper Fi”!
