She was born on January 19, 1931, in Woodlake, California, to Albert Lorenzo Asman and Nell Robertson Asman. Patricia spent most of her life in Stockton, where she built a life centered around family, resilience, and simple joys. After retiring from the Sharpe Army Depot, she moved to Vacaville.
Patricia will be remembered for her quick wit and wonderful sense of humor. She had a way of making people laugh and feel at ease, and her contagious laugh could light up a room. She found happiness in life’s simple pleasures—getting lost in a good book, enjoying her favorite Mexican food, and never turning down ice cream.
More than anything, she cherished her family and the time spent together. Her presence brought warmth, laughter, and comfort to those who knew and loved her.
She was the last surviving sibling. Patricia also held a special place in the hearts of her many nieces and nephews, who often said she was their favorite aunt.
Her sons and their wives survive her, Keith and Annette Combs, and Jim and Maria Hill; her grandchildren, Kristian Hill, Lisa Morrison, Gwen and Josh Barnett, Danielle and Randy Jinks, and Kelsey and Michael Flores; and her great-grandchildren, Fabian and Marisol, O’Rion, Kristian, Spencer, Addison, Zach, Lauren, Cadince, Acara, Genesee, and Nellie Jo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Lorenzo Asman and Nell Robertson Asman; her husband, Clarence Fields; her siblings, Voncyle, Bill, Doris, Mary, Ruth, Jack, and Richard; her children, Steven Combs and Judy Combs; and her great-grandson, Shane Jinks.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. As she would always say, “I love you more. “
