Anthony is survived by his wife Mary Anne of Lodi and sons Timothy (Stephanie), Mark (Maria), Eric (Angie) and 3 grandchildren: Markie, Mason, and Lily, Sister Beverly Deal, Brother Rex Coit (Martha) Brother Jerry Coit (Anita) and his devoted hunting dogs Lexi and Piper.
He is preceded in death by his parents Paul and Elsie Quilon.
Anthony was born on February 9, 1952, in Stockton California to Paul and Elsie Quilon. He graduated from Edison High School in 1970. Anthony married his High School Sweetheart Mary Anne on July 7th, 1973.
Anthony and Mary Anne started their family in 1976 with the birth of their first son Tim, then Mark followed in 1979, and Eric in 1982.
Anthony started working in the tile trade in 1978 before opening his own business Anthony Tile, Inc., in 1987 with his nephew Richard Deal as his helper.
Anthony was a devoted father, skilled tradesman, and pillar of strength to his family and among his friends. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to his craft and the values he instilled in his three beloved sons.
Anthony learned the meaning of perseverance and integrity at an early age. He dedicated his life to the tile trade, not only
mastering it himself but ensuring that his knowledge and passion were passed down to the next generation. With calloused hands, he taught his sons the value of an honest day's work, the pride in building something with their own hands, and the importance of integrity in every job they took on.
To him, work was more than a means to an end, it was a legacy. He found his greatest joy not in personal accomplishments, but in watching his sons carry on the family trade, knowing that the skills he passed down would live on. His wisdom and guidance shaped them into the men they are today.
Beyond his trade, Anthony was a devoted Husband, Father, Grandpa, and Father in Law. He was a steadfast friend, and his presence filled every room with laughter that all will remember in their hearts forever. He was a man of few words but had a deep impact on many, and his presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
Though his hands may now be at rest, the lessons he imparted and the values he lived by will continue through those he leaves behind. His sons will carry on his name, not just in word, but in the work they do and the example they set for the generations to come.
Anthony had a deep passion for the great outdoors. Whether casting a line in his favorite bass fishing spot with his son Tim or sitting in a duck blind calling ducks with the many friends he has met along the way, he found joy in the sport of it all. As an outdoorsman, Anthony formed many relationships in the Bass community by fishing in tournaments and duck hunting for over 4 decades.
A gifted home cook, he found joy in preparing holiday feasts that brought his family together. From Christmas morning breakfast to his perfectly cooked prime rib dinner. Markie, Mason, and Bear will deeply miss Grandpa Anthony’s presence during all the holidays and birthdays that he made so special for them. He found joy in spoiling them for all their special moments. They will truly miss the love he shared with them.
Rest easy, Dad. Your work here is done, but your legacy will never fade.
