Born in Sacramento CA, March 13, 1948 moved to Stockton as a young child, where he resided for over 60 years. Raul was a military Veteran that served in the Army for 4 years, he was honorably discharged. He is preceded in death by his mother Melba Luna. Raul is survived by his 3 children Roy A. Vasquez, Rick Vasquez and Raquel A. Vasquez. He has 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Raul took his final breath at home among his family on August 15, 2016. DeYoung Memorial Chapel is honored to serve the Vasquez family. Viewing will be Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St. from 2-6 pm followed by a Rosary at 6 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday August 31, 2016 at 10 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 203 Washington St. He will be laid to rest at Stockton Rural Cemetery.
