My Aunt Regis was one of the most influences in my life. She endured so much but she would never let you know. She always had a smile on her face and loved to attend all family functions. For many many years, we would go and pick her up and transport her to each and every occasion, whether it was at our home or at the park. She especially loved being around all the nieces, nephews and grandchildren. She babysat our first born, Narlene, for quite a few years, and did a wonderful job. The summer Jimmy was born, I spent my school vacation with her to help. If you ever wanted to see Aunt Regis get mad, you had to see her stand toe to toe with Uncle Junior! That's the only time you saw her get angry, tell him off, then tell him what he could do with his beans, fried potatoes and cornbread!!! Junior thought since his check was large, he should be able to spend every penny of it on whatever he wanted. This was an everyday argument with him. We'll never forget her, she was truly a great great lady. Rest in peace, Aunt Regis, and say Hi to everybody, until we all meet again. With love forever and always.
