

Robert is survived by his children, Debbie, Bobby, Donny and son in law, Wilbur, brother, Larry Peluso and sister-in-law Pat Peluso of Stockton and his close friends, Kathy James and Carol Peluso. He is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio & Theresa Peluso along with his brothers, Tony Jr. Peluso, Ronald Peluso & sister Kathy Elsholz all of Stockton. Robert has 4 granddaughters, Melissa, Allison, Trisha & Juliann and Grandson in law Dustin. Robert also has seven great grandchildren, Alyssa, Eric, Eriann, Ashley, Emma, Jack & Paige including many nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces, and nephews. Robert was born on March 3.1937 in Stockton, CA to Antonio and Theresa Peluso. Robert graduated from Franklin High School in 1955. He then was drafted into the United States Navy in 1955 and served on the USS Agerholm DD826 achieving a China service medal. While in the Navy, Robert enjoyed being cook while on deployment.
Robert was an accomplished Machinist for Carando's Machine Works and Technologies with over 45 years of dedicated service. Robert also had many other skills that included being an Automotive Shade tree Mechanic along with any other tasks set before him. He was also an individual who loved many sports which included hunting, fishing, softball and was very passionate about his Bowling and Golf. He also loved working in his yard and maintaining an impeccable home. Robert loved his family endlessly and was a father figure to anyone who needed him with kindness & generosity beyond measure.
A graveside service for Robert will be held Friday, November 12, 2021 at 1:00 PM at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery, 719 E. Harding Way, Stockton, California. Deacon Louie will officiate the ceremony along with Navy Honors. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Alzheimer’s Association or Hospice of San Joaquin. The family would like to thank Hospice of San Joaquin & their staff for the amazing care.
