Sara Quesada Garcia, 101, of Stockton died on December 31, 2018 at Dameron Hospital. Born in Jucipila, Zacatecas, Mexico, Mrs. Garcia lived in Stockton for 71 years. She was raised in Sacramento, California where she attended local schools. She was the daughter of Francisco Quesada and Victoriana Nunez Quesada.
Survivors include her children Richard Garcia of Sacramento, Sylvia Pinon and Esther Contreras of Stockton and Tony Garcia of Salida. She had five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sisters Petra Quesada and Digna Campos and a brother Jessie Quesada.
A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 9 at Frisbie-Warren & Carroll Mortuary, 809 N. California St. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 10, at St. Gertrude’s Catholic Church, 1663 E. Main St.
Visitation will be from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Frisbie-Warren & Carroll Mortuary.
Burial will be at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery.
