I’m late writing here of my great memories of Scott. He was my youngest son Jason’s long time friend. They were friends since Kindergarten. Played daily together as young boys. Scott lived across the street from us and he and my son were together constantly. The would catch poly wogs down in small pond down the street. His mom and I would find them in their pockets when we did the laundry. We would laugh at the things these two little guys did. They played hard and had adventures in the empty fields by our houses. Typical little boy pals having fun being boys. They built tree houses with their older brothers and worked all day having fun. Betty and I often reminisced and laughed at the cute things these two did growing up. When I seen the movie Sandlot it reminded me of our boys. I was so saddened about Scott’s passing. But I will always have such fond memories of him and his whole family. And now they are all together again in heaven. They will be missed.

A year has gone by and still it feels unreal. Hoping your Mom and Family are coping and finding ways to smile as they think of you.
I miss our yearly tax visits and catching up on each others lives.

Scott became my best friend when I moved across the street when I was five years old in 1973. Growing up on White Lane was great, we had so many things to do and we all attended Waverly School. I spent the night at his house all the time and we played outside all day. 
We enjoyed exploring the fields nearby. One day we found two horses that must have gotten out and we wanted to keep them and our moms told us we had to find the owners.
Scott’s brother Mark and my brother Rich and I built a really cool tree fort in the field behind our house in a huge walnut tree, each one of us built our own rooms in different parts of the tree. We also had a tire swing that we would wind up and spin each other around until we were so dizzy that we couldn’t walk.
We used to ride our bikes to the pond next to the railroad tracks and build ramps to jump over on our bikes.
When I spent the night at Scott’s we would sit at the kitchen bar and his mom Betty would bring us dessert, one of my favorites was her tollhouse cookie bars. We had fun playing board games and playing nerf basketball.  We would listening  to songs on 45 records. 
We played on two little league teams, one soccer team, one pop warner football team when we were younger. During high school we played football and were on the track team together.
The summer before I started high school Scott and I flew down to Palm Springs to visit his Aunt Sue. She let us ride her horses in the desert and took us down to Mexico for the day. His cousin Stacy took us to Newport Beach for the day. 
Scott’s Mom Betty would drop us off at the high school swimming pool. I remember going down the slide and doing flips off the high dive.
If you’ve ever watched the movie SANDLOT, our childhood was very much the same.
I will miss my old friend Scott and will always cherish the memories we made during the 70’s & 80’s together.

Scott was not only our accountant he was family.  He always met us with a smile and treated us with kindness.  You are forever in our hearts and you will be missed.  Our thoughts are with his mom, kids and family.

We have many memories of Scott. 
My son Jason and Scott were best buddies growing up and if they weren’t at Scott’s house they were at our house . They were in the early years of grammar school to high school. In their early ages they did so many things together. Like go to the nearby pond and make rafts, caught Polywogs, frogs, lizards and no telling what they would bring home to their mothers! They built tree houses, played in the empty fields, played football, rode their bikes, swam in the pool and did many childhood games and shenanigans ! Betty (Scott’s) mom and I never knew what to expect of those two little boys. Boys who brought us so much joy. And a lifetime of memories of bye gone days. Scott will truly be missed by us all! My love a sympathy to his mother Betty and his children.

Betty and Scott’s family, I am so sorry for your loss. Scott and I shared many memories and great times together and I will always cherish those.

Deepest condolences to Scott’s Family. 
I am totally shocked to hear of his passing. I worked for Scott’s Dad (Mike Damouny) for about 14 years during the tax season and I remember when Scott was a little kid coming in to see his Dad at work singing “leaving on a jet plane”. He was the apple of his Dad’s eyes and I’m sure Mike was happy Scott went into accounting and tax returns like him. Scott carried on his Dad’s business and he became our accountant after his Dad retired. He carried on the same care and tax advice for his clients.
His love for his Family was all around him in the pictures all over his office and his Mom, Betty, worked with Scott too.
I will be forever grateful having the privilege of working and being Friends with the Damouny Family.
Rest in Peace Scott.

It’s so painful losing you. While we are still grieving the loss of your brother, we must again learn how to live without the two of you. My thoughts and prayers are with  Mikaela, EJ, Scottie and Aunt Betty.  Sharing memories of our childhood with your kids brought some happy feelings. They are amazing and are missing you terribly.  Look after them and your mom in your spirit world, they still need you. I love you.
