Scott Eugene Dietrich, age 66, passed away at his home on July 26, 2015. Scott was born in Stockton May 5, 1949 to Eugene and Virginia Dietrich. He worked for San Joaquin County for 30 years. Scott was a military history buff and enjoyed sharing his extensive knowledge. He enjoyed camping, cruising, old western movies, daily trips to the coffee shop with his wife and playing with his grandchildren. He was a long time cancer survivor. Scott is survived by his wife of 36 years, Carol, daughters, Heather and Heidi, and grandchildren Lily, Aubrey and Duncan. He will be greatly missed by his family and friend. Services will be held on Saturday August 8 at 1:00PM at First Presbyterian Church at 31 E Vine St, Stockton.
