Tanya's father Leo Zaremba was a captain in the Russian Czar's Army and fled Russia in 1922 at the end of the Bolshevik Revolution with his wife, Tanya's mother, Alexandra Zaremba.
Tanya is survived by her two sons, David (Sharon) Ross and Mark (Ann) Ross, three grandchildren, Evan (Christiana) Ross, Cameron Ross and Natasha Ross.
Tanya was passionate about duplicate bridge, was a life master and she developed close friendships through her many years of playing bridge.
Tanya was also an avid gardener and won city awards for her beautiful gardens which were also a sanctuary for the birds she loved.
