

Victoria G. Cabuyao ("Doring", "Vicky") was born on December 23, 1927 in San Carlos City, Pangasinan, Philippines to Antonio DeGuzman and Teodora Paragas. She went home with the Lord Jesus at age 89 on January 25, 2017 in Stockton, CA. She was born to a large family of 11 brothers and sisters. Her studies were Education at Far Eastern University and she worked as a Secretary at Cooperatives Bank in Manila, Philippines. Her first husband was Cecilio Montemayor (passed away in 1980) and they have one daughter, Maria Pearl. Vicky migrated to Italy and lived there from 1977-1980 and came to the U.S. in 1981 in great hopes to make a better life for herself and for her daughter. She married her second husband, Frank Cabuyao (passed away in 1996) in 1981 and they lived in Santa Cruz, CA for 10 years. Victoria worked at Mission Linen Supply, Life Span and Goodwill Industries. After retirement, she and her family moved to Stockton, CA where she lived and helped raise her grand-daughters. She is loved and cherished by so many!!! Victoria lived out a life of great compassion and heart of generosity. She helped so many people in need especially her relatives back in the Philippines. She always encouraged and has helped her "apo" (grand-children), nieces and nephews to chase their dreams and get an education. Her legacy lives on in the lives of her daughter, Pearl along with her son-in-law, Romy and her 3 beautiful granddaughters, Kirstyn, Khelani and Kelsie. She is survived by her sisters, Catalina Tamondong, Maura Alegre and her brothers, Pedro, Melchor and Cipriano DeGuzman. She is greatly missed and has left a huge impact on our hearts. She will always be honored and remembered for all that she has done and for the amazing life she lived! On Saturday, February 4, 2017 at DeYoung Shoreline Chapel- Viewing is from 10 am -8 pm. Rosary starts at 1 pm. Service starts at 2 pm.
