Born on September 18, 1923, in Paoay, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, Visitacion lived a long and meaningful life. In her youth, she was sent to Vigan to study dressmaking and worked with her mother in the fields. In 1941, she married Aquilino Rambaud, beginning a long and close-knit union.
Visitacion is survived by her devoted son Nestor, her son-in-law Pedro (Jun), her cherished three grandchildren, and her beloved four great-grandchildren, all of whom carry forward her legacy of warmth, kindness, and perseverance. She was a woman of grace who valued family, faith, and tradition, and she will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
A viewing will be held at DeYoung Shoreline Chapel at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 31, 2025, and a funeral service to honor and celebrate Visitacion’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 1, 2025, at Cherokee Memorial Park in Lodi, California. A reception will follow at the J. Charles Irwin Reception Center. Friends, extended family, and all whose lives were touched by her gentle spirit are warmly invited to attend.
