Hallie O. Roesch

Hallie O. Roesch, age 87, of Stone Mountain, GA peacefully passed on December 6th while receiving convalescence care in Cobblestone Health Center at Park Springs Senior Community. She was born in Chicago. Her husband Roy preceded her in death in 2002. Hallie moved to Stone Mountain from Anderson, SC. Her husband's work allowed them to live in Chicago, Oceanside, NY, and Hurst, Texas prior to retiring in South Carolina. She and Roy loved to travel, attend Dallas Cowboy and Clemson University football games. She was a member of the Anderson Chapter of P.E.O. International, also the LaGrange, IL Order of Eastern Star and sang for years with the Sweet Adeline's in the upstate of South Carolina. Her current church membership was at Mountain Park United Methodist Church. Hallie is survived by her son Jeff Roesch and his wife Nancy of Decatur and daughter Jeri Boland and her husband Ted of Lawrenceville. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00 PM Saturday January 8, 2011 in the chapel of Horis A. Ward-Stone Mountain Chapel with Rev. Jack Taylor officiating.
