Roswell Lee Williams

Roswell Lee Williams age 81 of Stone Mountain, GA was welcomed into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 24, 2012. Roswell was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved the Lord and will be greatly missed. He practiced law and worked for USF&G Insurance, retiring as superintendent of the Agency and Development Department in 1991. He had a strong passion for music and was a guitar player and a singer/songwriter.He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Williams. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Winona Williams; daughters and sons in law, Rosalyn and Dallas Smith and Carole and Richard Corley; sons and daughters in law, Paul and Ann Taylor, Barry and Arlene Dawson and Steve and Annmarie Dawson; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Horis A. Ward Stone Mountain Chapel with Rev. John Owens Officiating. Entombment will be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 27, 2012 from 4-7 PM at the funeral home.
