My condolences to Gertie and family.  Living as a neighbor to Charlie and Gertie for many years, Charlie will be remembered as a hard working man and great neighbor and always so kind.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

Our thoughts & prayers go out to Gert, Les, Brenda, Karen & their families. I fondly recall the family reunions celebrating Uncle Charlie's "milestone birthdays" & the gathering of the clan.

We have many fond memories of the Meyer family over the years. Mom remembers the times my dad spent with the "boys" up at the farm and at Bilby when they were growing up. 
I remember going up to your farm as a kid and spending as much time as I could visiting with "Jimmy"; and the many times Alwin or Charlie delivered milk to us "campers" during the summer.
Charlie was one of a kind - always with a friendly greeting and a twinkle in his eye. We will miss him a lot.

Charlie and his family have played an important role in the Bilby story over many years - milk delivery to the lake community, harvesting ice from the lake for the store and the camp, providing us with delicious thick cream and propane, and being a good friend and neighbour to all.  We have very fond memories of Charlie's many kindnesses. Gertie and family are in our thoughts and hearts at his sad time.  The Thurston family
