It is with great sadness the family of Mrs. Claire Richter of Spruce Grove AB, announce her passing on April 30, 2023 at the age of 72 years.

Claire will be forever loved and missed by her husband of 52 years, Vern; her children Lisa (Anita), Jodi (Chad) and Kevin (Catharine), grandchildren Jakob and Marlo and her mother-in-law Yvonne. She is dearly missed by her siblings Therese (Fernand), Marguerite, Ray (Marlis), Jerry (Jackie); and in-laws Dolores (Joe), Norma (Brian), Mervin (Shelley) and Corinne (Lee), nieces and nephews. Claire was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Blanche, father-in-law Albert, and her brother Ric.

The family extends their gratitude to Claire’s healthcare team, including Eunice Ho and Ashley Godwin at Rexall Drugs Spruce Grove. Deepest appreciation to Dr. Smitha Yaltho and the staff at Norwood Palliative Care for their kind and compassionate care in her final months.

Prayers will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church 200 Veterans Blvd, Spruce Grove, AB. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Claire’s honour to the Alberta Cancer Foundation
