David Edward Peters was born in Hamilton, Ontario to parents Albert and Dorothea Peters in 1946. He moved to Edmonton as a young man and pursued a career in aviation as an aircraft engineer. Dave's career took him to Prince Albert and Uranium City, SK. Dave enjoyed hiking, gardening, and restoring classic motorcycles. He was an avid reader and always had a dog (or two, or three) at his side.
He is survived by his wife, Susan, daughter, Jessie (Darren) and sister Kathy. He is also survived by his stepchildren Wes (Joanne), Wade (Michelle), and Shelley, and nephews, Robert and Jeremy. He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren: Carly, Jamie, Hannah, Kalyn, Aidan, Rainy, Summer, Ever and great granddaughter Alaia.
As per Dave's wishes, no service will be held.
