Dennis Neal Patrick Matthews

1937 - 2023

With saddened hearts the family of Mr. Dennis Matthews of Stony Plain, AB announce his passing on June 11, 2023 at the age of 86 years.

Dennis will be remembered as a man who enjoyed working on antique motors, playing bridge and curling. Above all else, he loved to spend time with his family and he will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Dennis will forever be loved and missed by his wife and best friend of 63 years Sharron; his daughter Maureen; his son Dan (Debbie); his grandchildren: Cameron, Christine (Ross), and Jason (Kam); his great grandchildren Aiden & Charlotte as well as numerous extended family members and friends.

Dennis was predeceased by his parents Esther & Richard; his son Rick and by his son-in-law Darwin.

A Memorial Service will held at the Stony Plain United Church Saturday, June 24th, 2023 at 1:30 pm.
