Donald Angus Maclean

Don will always be remembered as an aviation enthusiast. A trip to town wasn’t complete without a stop at Kelly Field. He enjoyed working with his hands and loved to build things. He built his first home, a few garages, and always had an RC airplane project on the go.

Don loved the outdoors and spoiled any animals he and his family raised on their hobby farm at Carvel. He was extremely proud of his kids and his grandson.

Don will forever be loved by his wife and best friend of 38 years, Leanne; his son Dylan (Mel); his daughter Amy, and his grandson Boston. He is also survived by his sister Heather (Bert), as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Don was predeceased by his parents Jim & Margaret and by his sister Peggy.

A Memorial Service will be held for Don at 2:00 pm on January 16, 2025, at Parkland Funeral Services, 3502 – 44 Avenue in Stony Plain, AB.
