

Dwayne was predeceased by his parents, Ted and Hazel Levitt and his brother Larry Levitt. He will be lovingly missed by his wife of 36 years, Cindy Levitt and children, Megan (Robert) Frigon and Chad (Cait Jahner) Levitt. Dwayne leaves behind his siblings, Bernette (Don) Babcook, Dianne (Doug) Mckenzie and sister-in-law Katherine Levitt. Dwayne loved being a new grandfather and adored his only grandson, James Frigon. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Dwayne was a devoted philatelist (stamp collector) who also took great joy in collecting coins, hockey cards, and key chains from his travels. A kind and gentle soul, Dwayne had a special way of connecting with those that crossed his path.
Dwayne was a committed and reliable employee at Canada Post for 37 years, retiring in 2010 as a Superintendent. To keep busy during his early retirement years, Dwayne worked part-time at Home Depot in Spruce Grove. He was a handyman at heart and loved sharing his knowledge with others He treasured the many friends he had at Home Depot. A service will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Rosenthal, RR13 TWP 524, Stony Plain, AB with Pastor Doug Hanson-Torwalt officiating.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made in memory to the Edmonton Humane Society, 13620 – 163 Street NW, Edmonton, Alberta T5V 0B2. Dwayne dearly loved his dogs.
