She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 68 years, Arnold; her sons, Brent (Jun), Gordon (Eunice), and Doug (Joanne); her brother, Larry (Laura); her three grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, Grace and John, and her twelve brothers and sisters.
Edith was known as a selfless and giving person. She was loving, caring, and devoted to her family and community. Some of her passions included knitting, painting, and gardening.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church of Golden Spike, 51301 Range Rd 274, Spruce Grove, AB T7Y 1H7.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Edith’s memory to the Devon Hospital Foundation.
