James Irvin Duncan, age 84 of Onoway, Alberta passed away peacefully at home on February 8, 2026.
Irv was born in Swift Current and raised in Neville, Sk. In 1969 he moved his young family to Spruce Grove, AB. In 1987 he moved to a farm in the Onoway area and lived out his retirement on the farm with his loving wife Kathy.
Irvin was a proud member of Ironworkers Local 720 for 56 years.
He is survived by his wife Kathy, 3 sons Jack (Bernie), James (Rita) and Joe (Jody), 5 sisters and 1 brother along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Irv will be forever loved, remembered for his strength and getting the job done.
A memorial service will be held at the Spruce Grove Alliance Church, located at 250 Century Road in Spruce Grove on February 23, 2026 at 1pm.
