Janet Propp

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Janet Propp, beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister, who passed away peacefully on June 2, 2025 at the age of 69.

Janet will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Nicole, her son in law Shaye, her two granddaughters Mikyla and Jaylyn, her father Melvin, her sisters Denise and Charlene (Terry) and several nieces and nephews. She treasured time with her family and took great pride in her granddaughters’ accomplishments, always asking about their activities—especially their sports.

She was a devoted fan of baseball and curling and rarely missed watching a game. Her enthusiasm for her favorite teams was matched only by her love of bingo, where she enjoyed both the game and the friendships it brought.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 13th at 1:00 p.m. at Parkland Funeral Services, 3502-44 Avenue, Stony Plain.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to spend time with your loved ones and cheer a little louder at the next ball game in her memory.
