   RIP Uncle John:
  Remembering the long past years of Saskatchewan farm life, the struggles, the cold winters, the strength to endure along with the happy times that would be hard to understand in todays world. The early days in Edson and the  move forward. John, your sense of humour never left you as did your will to a better life for your family. You will be missed by a loyal family and old friends, again rest in peace Uncle John, you earned that right. 
  My condolences to you Aunt Aunt Emma, your children and grand children.

Today we said goodbye to our grandpa. He didn't have riches in the material sense, but his legacy is in his 4 children, 13 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren along with step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. Who at 50 can still say they have their grandparents? We were blessed. The legacy is that today there were no strangers there. We all know each other. Our formative years were spent with family. Our memories of the farm are clear and long lasting. An inheritance that will transcend the generations.

Grandpa! We will miss you always! I know you are smiling down at the grand kids and will always be their guiding light!

We are so sorry we couldn't join you today for the celebration of Johnny's life.  Our sincerest sympathy to all of you for your loss.

Thanks for the memories dad; the old tunes you taught me while on the milk runs, the driving lessons, the values of honesty and hard work.You always made us welcome and were so happy to see us come home and visit after I left your home and made my own way.
