Janine,  Jacqueln, Jessica we are very sorry about your loss. We never got to meet you and the girls but John shared stories of you and family every time he worked at the plant for the last 19 years. He always had a smile on his face and developed a personal relationship with every one of the guys on the crew he left some very large shoes to fill with all of us.

So very sorry, Janine.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your girls.  We lost a good neighbour, a good person, a wonderful family man.  Deepest sympathy.

Janine, Jacquelin, and Jessica I met John in the late 1990s and worked with him directed and by phone on many projects over the years. I was a G3600 commissioning engineer at the time. John was a great guy with a wonderful sense of humor and a great outlook on life. He often spoke of his family and the hardships of often being separated from you by work duties.  He truly loved you all. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.   You have the sincerest condolences from myself and all in the Caterpillar family.

We are so sorry to hear of your beloved husband Janine and wonderful father to Jacqueline and Jessica. He was a big teddy bear (strong, gentle and unique) all rolled into one. He was "Awesome" in this world and now passed on to spread his wings. Memories will help you with the pain and just knowing you have your own guardian angel protecting and caring for you and the girls hopefully bring you some comfort.

John used to bug me all the time, he used to dunk me in the pool whenever Katherine and I went swimming. We always had a good time when we were kids. You will me missed John. Rest in peace

I first met John when I worked for Finning in fort nelson bc. I lost touch with him for years and just last summer reconnected.  We were on the same site doing start ups and staying in camp. It was nice to catch up and hear about how his family doing and his girls. His nick name with us was Bam Bam he was an awesome guy and will surely be missed.

Remember John growing up in North Delta BC. We were next door neighbors back then.  We were friends with Marg and Harold as were John and his sister were friends with our daughter and son.  We extend our deepest sympathy to you and family on your loss.  Prays are with you at this time.

So saddened to learn of John's passing. Since we moved, we have forgotten how much we have missed great friends and neighbours. We wish we could be there to give you a big hug and help in any way possible.

First met John when he was a resident field man in Coronation who had just transferred from Fort McMurray. Enjoyed  working with him , he was a devoted family man. Taken too soon , my thoughts are with the family at this unbelievable time
