Joseph Proulx (also known as Wilf Prue) passed away on November 22, 2020 in Stony Plain, Alberta. Joseph spent his life in the construction industry and even up to his final months he was still utilizing his amazing carpentry skills which he was so proud of. With a love for Arizona, a delightful culinary palette, an interest in artifacts and an eye for design, Joseph had a long and fulfilled life. With memories of fruit orchards as a child in Otterburne, Manitoba to lengthy road trips down South, Joseph had experienced a lot of joy and excitement in his lifetime. Joseph was also as tough as they come. Under his rough and tough exterior, he was a kind, loving, extremely generous and humorous man. As a jokester he could make the room laugh whenever he wanted! Joseph also had a brilliant mind for math, and his intelligence and knowledge will be missed by all.
Joseph is loved by his children Amber, Kelsey and Derek (predeceased daughter Rose). Adored by his grandchildren, Skyler and Ryder (and mom Bobbi), Parker, Presley, Derek Jr and Kashtian, great grandchildren Westin and Saint. Predeceased was his love, Julie. Joseph also shared a lifelong special bond with his closest friend and Mother of his children, Stella. With a large family who he loved, and was loved by, were siblings Yolande (passed), Fernand, Doris, Flora, Marie, Ronald, Clement, Aira (passed), and Philippe. Predeceased were his parents Therese and Francois.
In memory of Joseph Proulx (Wilf Prue) donations can be given in his name to the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
