The two were married in 1994 and went on to build a beautiful life together, raising four children: Scott, Daniel, Jason, and Kaitlyn, who were the center of Karen’s world.
Karen dedicated much of her life to caring for others, not only at home but in her work as a nurse at Westview Hospital in Stony Plain. She was known by her family, friends, and colleagues for her tireless dedication, gentle demeanor, and the quiet strength she brought to her work and her community.
Karen is lovingly remembered by her brothers: Micheal (Annie) Cook, Simon (Kelly) Cook, Matthew Robertson, and Timothy Robertson with whom she shared strong bonds of love and family. Karen will also be greatly missed by her extended family and close friends.
