Shirley was predeceased by her husband Russell Kelley and her brother Johnny Heys. Shirley enjoyed her four daughters and their husbands; Linda (Dwight) Ganske, Carol (Ron, predeceased), Sharon (Jim), Candace (Mike) and her twelve grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren and one great- great- grandchild.
Shirley lived in many parts of Canada and in 2008 was welcomed to Stony Plain where she enjoyed her later years. Shirley especially enjoyed her friends at Elmwood Court, Forest Ridge Place and the lively coffee ladies. She was an Avid bridge player and loved to win bingo. She kept her sense of humor and wit to the very last. The entire family would like to thank the staff at Forest Ridge Place, (Meridian Foundation), the Westview Health Centre –Wound Clinic, Hospital and Hospice for Mom’s wonderful care. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the charity of choice, if desired.
