Marion Joan Fennell

1953-2017

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion Joan Fennell of Stony Plain, AB on July 1st, 2017.

Born in Espanola, ON to loving parents Roy and Olive Ferguson and sisters Ruth Price of Burlington, ON and Bonnie Gowan of Calgary, AB. Marion was pre-deceased by her husband Dave Fennell.

After growing up in Blind River and Elliott lake, Marion became a lab technician in Kingston and then moved west to Calgary, Hay River and Fort McMurray. She eventually retired and moved to Stony Plain.

Marion, although, not as she stated "a people person" never the less did a lot of work for her community and her friends.

The family would like to extend their greatest appreciation to Dr. Fuchs of Stony Plain for the outstanding care he provided Marion. We would also like to thank the emergency room staff of the Misericordia Hospital in Edmonton. Finally a very special thank you to Corinna Bergmann who did so much for our sister and aunt when she was well and during her illness.

Marion's spirit will remain in our hearts forever.
