Mary Louise Hansen

Affectionately known as Grandma Lou, she will be remembered as a woman who continually volunteered with many organizations throughout the community. She was active in many aspects within her church. She was known as the community mother to many in Onoway and the surrounding area.

Grandma Lou will forever be loved and remembered by her daughters: Tina (Mel), Trish (Richard) and Carmen; her sons Scott (Lesley) & Glen; her grandchildren: Nolan, Brady, Kaden, Bailey, Nicole, Dwight, Tysen, Georgia, Morgan, Cameron, Amanda, Bret, and Laine; 10 great-grandchildren; her sister Pat as well as numerous extended family and friends.

She was predeceased by husband Ed; her son Gerry and by her sister Marg.

In memory of Lou, donations may be made to a Charity of One’s Choice.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at the Onoway Community Hall, 4920 – 49 Avenue in Onoway, AB.
