Dr. Dan contributed to my Cairn, Glenn's, long 18 year life by his frequent adjustments. I was ready to contact Dr. Dan to adjust my new doggie having lost Glenn at a ripe old age of 18 1/2.  I was shocked to find out he had passed. I remember the last we'd seen him he had spent his 70th Birthday at our farm adjusting one of our horses.We'd wished him a happy one and many more. So very sorry for your loss.

Our dog Xena wasn't supposed to make it to 10 years old. 

We tried many different solutions but adding a monthly Chiro visit had the biggest impact on her. She would run up the stairs after her appointment and play with her sister longer, something she had trouble doing before her appointments. 

Dr. Dan and his team of helpers were so kind, easy to chat with, and alway put the animals first. Xena is 12 now and we know (and Xena knows) that Dr. Dan had a big part in keeping her in good spirits. 

We will always remember him and are forever grateful he came into our lives.

We are deeply saddened to learn of Dr. Dan's passing. He was not only our pets' chiropractor for 20+ years but also a friend.
Over the years, Dan played an integral role in the physical health and well being of each and every one of our eight dogs, as well as several temporary foster dogs.
Whether it was a minor limp or severe structural issues due to major surgeries or accidents, Dan saw us through every step of the way. His talent never ceased to amaze us. So much so, that we often consulted with him in place of traditional veterinary care.
His calm demeanor and kind spirit reflected in how easily our dogs took to his presence. They knew Dr. Dan by name and were always excited for their visits, which routinely ended in tail wags and kisses.
You were a rare gem Dan Martin. It is not often in life that we encounter a genuine soul such as yours. You will be sadly missed and will forever hold a cherished space in our hearts and memories.

Kuma loved his trips to see Dr. Dan for his adjustment. He would happily hop onto the treatment table and wait for relief. Dr Dan was truly a remarkable human being and gifted healer.
I was introduced to Dr Dan by Dr Andy Mueller many years ago for my Great Dane that would have had to be put down if it wasn’t for this great Dr. Since that time I’ve had many of my horses , dogs and even my daughters cat treated by him and many were saved from a debilitating life or worse. I always enjoyed our visits and I will be eternally grateful for his  incredible healing ability and compassion for animals and humans . Well done good and faithful servant 🌷

I was so sad to hear of Dr. Dan's passing. I had the pleasure of getting to know him through the dog sport community, and I always appreciated how generously he gave his time to care for my dogs. He had such a gentle, kind presence - always calm, thoughtful, and deeply concerned for the well-being of the animals he treated. 

Throughout the years, we had him host a few clinics at our club. He was always quick to respond, easy to work with, and brought a warm, wry sense of humor that made the experience enjoyable for everyone. He also had a way of making each interaction personal- he genuinely wanted to know how I was doing, and that simple kindness meant a lot. 

Dr. Dan will be missed not only as a professional, but as a truly good person. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. My thoughts are with his family and all who loved him.

Oh My, Words cannot express the sadness felt at hearing of the passing of Dr. Dan.

Tears for Amanda, her son, family and close friends. Our hearts are heavy with the news.

Dr. Dan will be missed by all of us, humans and animals.  He had a great gift and was kind enough to share it with all.

We met Dr. Dan almost twenty years ago, when my first Border collie went to see him. He then treated a second and a third. He had a very kind hand and had great insight into an animal’s health and well being. They seemed to sense his wanting to help them through his touch.  It was like he was quietly listening to them communicate to him what was needed to help them.  He was very knowledgeable in his chiropractic care.  One thing for sure, all the dogs were always happy and feeling better after seeing him.  Tails were always wagging!

Our three Border collies have since passed, and now I can take comfort in knowing that Dr. Dan is up there looking after them again! (Still doing what he does best!)

One thing for sure, he will be dearly missed by all. We know that there will never be another Dr. Dan who will touch our hearts like he did.  His love for animals and helping them through difficult times, comforted many.  He made quality of life better for all by extending the time and love between many humans and their fur babies.  For that, we are all forever grateful.  

Thank you Dr. Dan for your love and dedication to all.  It was a pleasure and a gift knowing you.  May you soar through the mountains to the other side to meet all those you love.

Sending our sincere condolences to Dr. Dan’s family.  We are sad to learn of his passing. We met Dr. Dan when we started taking Lucy, my Labradoodle, to him for treatments. He was amazing with her. I have a very fond memory of our first visit to his office and how Lucy responded to him so well. When he had finished his treatment, she went over to him and put her paw on his knee. There was no doubt in our minds that she was thanking him. He was delighted by her show of gratitude. Every time we visited him, my partner and I would talk on the way home about how within minutes he was able to give Lucy relief.  He definitely knew how to communicate in non-verbal ways with the four-legged ones, and he was very good in answering our questions and giving encouragement in Lucy’s last months. 
We feel blessed to have known him and to have witnessed his kind and caring ways.  He will be missed.

From far and wide, two legs or 4, Dr. Dan will be greatly missed by many.

We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your Dad, Brother and Grandfather. He will be greatly missed by humans and pets alike. Our two daughters were treated by Dr Dan in his chiropractic office on 124 Street when they were young. One daughter was not happy about ever having an adjustment.  Dr Dan would sometimes have to battle with her to receive the adjustment that she would be grateful for after the fact. We were always on pins and needles to see who was going to win the battle.  At that time we had a smaller dog who had severe back issues and we would drive to his chiropractor office to the underground parking area and wait for Dr. Dan to come down and perform the adjustment in the back of our van. He was always willing to do whatever it took to help an animal. I volunteer for a cat rescue and he has helped so many little kittens and cats with stomach issues and neck problems. I don't know what we will do without him. We loved him for his kindness and his caring for all the animals. He was one of a kind....

Dan was a dear friend for over 60 years. He made a point of checking in with me via a phone call every couple of months. I will miss our talks. He loved his family above all else and spoke proudly of  his grandson Benson. 
My deepest condolences to Amanda, Todd and family as well as Dan’s sister Donna. 
He will be missed.

I have happy memories of Danny when we were students at Laurentian High School. He was a star athlete, great dancer and wonderful friend! My sincere condolences to Dan's family and friends.

I am so sad to hear of Dr. Dan’s death. I first met him in 2004 when he worked on my Cavalier puppy who was throwing her left hindleg out. He soon found three! things wrong in that area which fixed her up beautifully. My Whippets have been seeing Dr. Dan the last couple of years prior to lure coursing competitions. We will miss him.  My sincere condolences to his family.
