Hi Barb .so sorry to hear of Randy's passing in 2016. Obviously lost track of all of you when you left Stonewall.  I just feel kinda lost. Knowing both of you and not knowing what happened. Be well. Be safe . 

Barb and Penny, I only today learned of Randy passing away. He was a friend and a great police officer who did all he could to serve to the best of his ability.
I have many, many fond memories of our time spent in Grande Cache and will always hold those in my heart.
I pray both of you are okay and stronger each day. He would want you both to live on in his honor with  a smile sharred.

Had no idea that Randy had passed on. I was just checking to see if he had retired yet. So sorry for your loss Barb. Randy was my trainer and mentor right out of Depot at Stonewall Detachment. My most deepest regards to all of Randy's family - I just learned of his passing and was unaware he was having any health issues.  I knew Randy through working in "K" Division and also a UN Mission in former Yugoslavia and found him to be  professional in all his dealings and also a great friend.  Randy will be dearly missed.

I was very saddened to heard this news.  I was lucky enough to have worked with Randy for a number of years at the RCMP.  He could always be counted on to act with the utmost professionalism.  His calm, kind demeanour and sharp wit were always appreciated and missed after his retirement.  He spoke highly of his family and would light up when talking about his grandchildren.  We've lost one of the good guys ~ RIP Randy.

I offer my sincere condolences to Randy's family.  We were on a UN mission together in the former Yugoslavia in 94/95.  Randy  always looked on the bright side and he told really good stories. He was a gentleman and the kind of policeman that we all wanted to be like.

I was privileged to know Randy through work related duties.  He had a subtle dry sense of humour.  We travelled to Comox to attend a course some years ago where we shared a rental vehicle to see the sights on our off time.  We had a great time looking at housing as we both toyed with the idea of moving to that area.  He spoke very fondly of his wife and family to me and how proud he was of them.  I will always remember his friendship, smile and that soft chuckle.  May the support of friends and family help heal your heart at this most difficult time.

It has been years since we saw each other but I was very saddened to hear of  Randy's passing. Randy was a great guy, who no matter when you meet him , he would stop and talk with you. Naturally growing up Ukrainian, him and I meet early in our lives.
