Rose Edwards

Rose will be remembered for her love of gardening, fishing and golfing. She also never said no to a game of crib. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.

Rose will forever be loved by her daughters: Bonnie & Kathy; her sons Charles (Marlene), Chester (Colleen), and Allan (Lucy); her grandchildren: Melissa (Brian), Chris (Joy), Michelle (Anthony), Denise (Sandy), Annette (Stuart), Roger (Tara), Christine, Jonathan (Alison), Amanda, Tracy (Manny), Brian (Lindsay), and Kaitlyn (Jason) and by her 31 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her 3 step-children and their families; her sisters: Minnie, Nellie, Annie, and Natalie; her brothers Steve & Peter as well as numerous nieces, nephew, extended family and friends.

Rose was predeceased by her husbands Joseph & Carl; her granddaughter Nicole; her sisters: Mary, Catherine and Josephine and by her brothers: Terry, Mike, John, and Nicholas.

A Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Parkland Funeral Chapel, 3502 – 44 Avenue in Stony Plain, AB. A Funeral Service for Rose will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 24, 2025 at Immanuel Lutheran Church at Rosenthal, 1228 Twp Rd 524 Stony Plain, AB.

The family wishes to extend a thank you to the staff at the Shepherd’s Care – Vanguard and at the Sturgeon Hospital for their care and compassion shown to Rose.
