Scott Warren

It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Scott James Warren at the age of 52 years old. Words cannot describe how much Scott will be missed and how much we love him!

Scott had a smile that could light up any room. He loved his family and would have did anything for them. He was an excellent provider and protector. He was feisty, persistent and had a heart of gold. We will cherish every memory from social gatherings to family functions/ trips and simple day-to-day life events. He was the best husband, an amazing father, a caring son (son-in-law), a wonderful brother (brother-in-law), and a proud uncle to his nieces. Scott’s love for animals was undeniable, especially towards Boo Boo Bear and Tommy. He was a dedicated trustworthy friend to many.

Scott was reliable and always willing to help others and go the extra mile to help someone out. His quick-witted humor, his infectious laugh and practical jokes always kept people smiling and on their toes. His love for sweet treats was a known fact!

Since the age of 16, Scott worked in the Energy Field as a Heavy Equipment Operator. He traveled through a lot of the provinces and worked on many projects. He was very dedicated to his work. He took pride in his work and strived for doing things the right way.

Scott was very adventurous; his favourite past time would be on the river in his jet boat looking for the next challenge and adventure with his son and buddies. He also enjoyed his time out at the family cabin where we’d be fishing, hunting, quadding, snowmobiling, boating and just enjoying the lake life. Scott enjoyed socializing and just “shooting the breeze” whether it be with his family/friends on the river or at the lake or just anywhere.

Scott is survived by his loving wife Alana Warren, son Billy Warren (Jensen); mother and father Gail and Jim Warren; brother Shawn Warren (Kim), Josie and Julie; his in-laws Tilly and Bill Simpson; brother-in-law Chuck Simpson (Liz), Andrea, Sarah, Taylor and Ti along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
