Steve and I were pals and we chatted and laughed and dreamt about the future.  He dreamt of writing a book and striking it rich.  We were all rich by the friendship that he shared with us all.

Steve, my friend,  may you rest in peace.  And one day I hope I will see you again. God be with you.

I was so saddened to hear of Stephen's passing. I first met Stephen at St. Patrick's high school - grade 10 or 11 I think. We used to geek out on his computer with games and watch movies in his basement. He was always an unconditional friend!  He was such a good guy!  We lost touch after a while but often thought of those fun times!  Those are fond memories for me that I'll always keep. He'll be truly missed. My deepest condolences to his family.

I attended St. Patrick's High School for my final year.  When I first met Stephen at the beginning of the year, he immediately offered his unconditional friendship to this newbie.  We laughed a lot together and I considered him a good friend.  

Although we didn't see each other often after high school, our little sisters were best friends, so our paths would criss-cross back and forth and we would catch up by seeing each other or through our sisters.

I cannot grasp the fact that this will never happen again.  Rest In Peace, Friend xo

My sincerest condolences to Steve's family. He was a good friend for many years, and I was stunned and grieved to get the news of his passing.

I am so very devastated and sad hearing this news.  I had known and grown up with Stephen since grade 2.  I had lost touch with him over 10 years ago.  My absolute deepest sympathies to his sister Sarah, his wife and son and other family members.

I feel saddened to hear of Steve's passing.  We were good friends during high school, played squash for a while and took a trip to Cuba together in 2001.  I had lost touch with him well over 10 or so years ago.  My heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones.

I was both shocked and sad to hear of Steve's passing today. For a period time, he was a great friend, a determined squash opponent, and someone who would dare to venture out during the worst ice storm of the century for a celebratory pint. To his family, wife and child, please accept my heartfelt condolences.
