Wilf is survived by his wife of 55 years, Brigitte; daughter, Karin; son, Wolfgang (Tamsin); grandchildren, Griffin and Anthea; sisters, Helga and Erika; brother, Reinhard; as well as many extended family members and friends in both Canada and Germany.
Wilf was not only an expert cabinet maker, but loved working with any type of wood, making furniture, carvings and model ships. For many years he enjoyed teaching adult swimming and scuba diving and with his family, he loved to go RVing, taking many trips around and across Canada and the U.S. In recent years, Wilf’s biggest passion was his garden, which he shared with fellow gardeners and friends in several local horticulture clubs.
In keeping with Wilf’s wishes, no service will be held. Cremation has taken place.
