Albert R. Haake

Albert R. Haake (Pop) of Central Nyack, NY passed away peacefully in his home on January 17th, 2018. He was 95 years old and born on September 27, 1922 to his parents Ida and Albert Haake of Norwood, NJ. He is one of eight siblings and is survived by his sister Marie Hunt of New Jersey. He worked many years for the Norwood post office as a letter carrier.

He married his beloved wife Barbara and is survived by his children; daughter Deborah and her husband Michael Marino, their children Laurie Wilson, Melissa and her husband Ben Lorino, Amy and her husband Thomas Tamburri; his son William Fassler and his daughter Dimetia, his great grandchildren Amanda, Sean, Brandon, James, Kayla, Jacob, Eli, Molly, Logan, and his great great grandchildren Vincent and Dominik.

He loved telling and sharing stories of his life experiences and going to Hogans diner in Orangeburg. He was an avid baseball fan and loved watching the Cardinals but his greatest joy came from his family. May he now rest in peace reunited with the love of his life.

Visitation services will be held Sunday Jan 21st from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Michael J. Higgins 73 North Liberty Drive in Stony Point, NY. Burial service will be at the funeral parlor on Monday Jan 22nd at 10am.
