Anna S Macheskie

Anna Stella Macheskie died peacefully in Joe Raso Hospice Residence in New City, NY on Wednesday, March 1. She was 83 years old. Anna was born at Fordham Hospital in the Bronx, NY on Deceember 29, 1933, to parents, Seth and Stella Martucci. Anna is survived by her son, Robert Jr.; her daughter, Susan; her brother, Raymond Martucci; two sister-in-laws, Jolene Mangieri and her husband Daniel; Dorothy Halpin, and numerous nieces and nephews, grandnieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Robert Macheskie, Sr., son of Walter and Mildred Macheskie.

Anna was a homemaker who enjoyed eating sweets, especially chocolate cake, listening to music and watching old movies. She was always known as Anna with the sweet smile.

Anna will certainly be missed by those who knew and loved her.

Anna will be receiving family and friends on Friday, March 3rd, at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home in Stony Point from 2-4 and 7-9pm. There will be a service for her at the funeral home on Saturday at 10am. Burial will follow at Frederick W. Loescher Veterans Memorial Cemetery in New Hempstead.
