I am sadden by Barbara passing as it's only been a year since I lost my wife.I knew Barbara from my Best food days and she was a wonderful, friendly and gracious person.My deepest sympathy and she is now a better place.

I worked with Barbara for many years at Unilever.  She was such a loving and thoughtful colleague.  I recall being new to the New York area and it was Christmas time in the office, everyone was exchanging cards and gifts.  Having moved thanksgiving week, I brought gifts for the support staff but my office looked a bit sterile and a tad forgotten- In walked Barbara with the lone gift for me that Friday before the holiday week.  Such a small gesture, but her kindness has stayed with me for 18 years.  My deepest condolences.  Susan Sorrel

I had the privilege of knowing Barbara for many years. Barbara was a dear and special friend to my mother however,  she shared her friendship with my entire family. I always viewed her as an accomplished and refined lady. Always greeting everyone with a smile and the sincere desire to hear about exciting milestones in everyone’s life. I always enjoyed her sense of humor and kindness.  I will never forget when she shared the experience of seeing and touching a horse for the first time with my children, a memory they still draw on to this day. Most of all I will always remember the warmth she would  bring  to our hearts and the people around her. She was one of a kind, such an incredibly special woman. We will all miss you Barbara…..

what a beautiful 59 year friendship we had ...love you and will miss you my dear friend...so many awesome memories that I will cherish until we meet again.
