Claire Regina Keegan (nee Horgan) passed away on December 5th, 2010. She was born in NYC on July 11, 1945 to Eugene and Genevieve Horgan. She was a resident of Stony Point for over 30 years. She had a wonderful marriage for 40 years to Edward Keegan with whom she had two children Matthew and Andrew. She was a Registered Nurse in the county for over 30 years. In her private and professional life she always put others before herself. She set an example for us all in her many roles as a wife, mother, sister and friend. She was an active member of the Senior Center of Stony Point where she had many cherished friends. She was survived by her husband Edward Keegan, children Matthew and Andrew, sister Kathleen Horgan McDonald and her husband John McDonald and many family and friends. Services will be held at Higgins funeral home, Stony Point, NY, on Wednesday December 8th from 2-4 and 6-9. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday December 9th at 11am at Immaculate Conception Church, Stony Point, NY. Memorial Donations can be made to Marian Shrine in Stony Point.
