Doris Walcott Coughlin was the mother of Mrs. Pam Attard, Dr. Peter Coughlin, Mrs. Karen Peterno and Mrs. Teresa Pacht. She has 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Mrs. Peggy Ruhs and Mrs. Frances McGowan.
Doris attended the Cooper Union Art School and holds 2 Associates & a B.S Degrees. She worked in Occupational Therapy for 20 years. Doris was an Associate member of the Dominican Sisters of Sparkill. A member of the Volunteer Corp at Helen Hayes Hospital, where she was a lector. She was a friend of the Marian Shrine and Graymoor and a member of St. Gregory Church in Garnerville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 22, 10am at St Augustine Church in Highland, NY. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY.
