Frank G. Collyer, 84, of Stony Point, New York, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2025. He is survived by his son, Frankie Collyer, and his daughter, Abigail Santmyer, as well as his four beloved grandchildren: Michael, Charlotte, Gweniviere, and Hadley. Frank was predeceased by his cherished wife, Caryl-Jo Collyer, with whom he shared nearly five decades of marriage.
Born on November 22, 1940, in Allendale, New Jersey, Frank lived a life brimming with creativity and passion. His love for skiing, cycling, camping, and hiking was only rivaled by his love for big dinners with friends and family, intense political debates, and epically bad dad jokes. Frank was a talented graphic artist whose sharp wit and keen eye for detail shone through in his art, especially in his thought-provoking political sketches.
Frank married Caryl-Jo on June 12, 1976. They had a beautiful marriage and set a very high bar for how a husband and wife should treat one another. They poured their love and energy into providing an exciting and fulfilling family life for their children while remaining openly affectionate and highly supportive of each other.
Family will receive guest on Friday Dec. 6th from 6pm-8pm at Michael J. Higgins Funeral home in Stony Point, NY. A Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Church in Stony Point, New York, on Saturday Dec. 7th at 11:15am.
