George A. Wright Jr. of Stony Point, NY died on August 19, 2010, he was 82. George was born in Manhattan, NY to George A. Sr. and Gertrude (Lochner) Wright. George is a veteran of WWII serving the U.S. Navy, and was a carpenter for Lamothermics in Montrose, NY retiring in 1996. George married Dolores White in 1952 in Stony Point Presbyterian Church. George is survived by his wife of 58 years Dolores, son Thomas M., daughters - Linda Wright Smoot and Susan Wright and a sister Jeanne Collins. The family will receive friends on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Higgins Funeral Home in Stony Point. Religious services will be held on Tuesday at 11:15 AM in Stony Point Presbyterian Church W. Main St., Stony Point, with burial to follow in George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ.
